Do you like meeting new people? Are you excited to share your favorite dish with others? Would you be willing to talk with others about our parish? Can you make people feel comfortable? If you answered YES to any of these questions, then the NEWCOMER WELCOMING MINISTRY is for you! Every three months, a group of enthusiastic QOP team members host a welcome dinner and informational program for our new parishioners. The evening is our guests’ first close look at our Parish, and we extend Christian hospitality and fun while educating them about all the fantastic opportunities we have at our church. Dates vary; but, the Welcome events are quarterly near the end of the month from 6:15 pm —8:30 pm.[/toggle]

Hospitality After Mass (HAM) Ministry provides a warm welcoming environment where beverages and snacks are served after all Masses with reduced scheduling during holidays and the summer months. The HAM Ministry has many tasks (making coffee, beverages, assembling snacks for serving, decorating serving tables, washing dishes, stocking supplies, etc.) that are necessary for each Mass. Each team member decides their level of involvement and what schedule works best for them. This can be a great family project (children must have an adult/parent with them) or a service project.
